Oak framed garden rooms, carports and porches in West Sussex
We design and build oak-framed garden rooms, garden offices, gyms, carports, porches and extensions across West Sussex. Every frame is cut and put together by our own team, so the people who plan your building are the same people who raise it.

Air-dried or green oak?
Green oak is the traditional choice for exposed outdoor frames. It moves and checks as it dries, which is part of its character. Air-dried oak is more stable, so we use it where the frame meets plastered walls or finished interiors. We'll recommend the right one for your building.
Do I need planning permission?
Many garden buildings are permitted development as long as they stay within the height and footprint limits. Close to the South Downs National Park or a listed building the rules are tighter. We'll tell you early on whether you're likely to need an application.
